Last night Erik and I met up for the first time in person, had a few drinks and dinner, and then we jumped on stage at the Duo’s show and did an improv scene!
And the reason we know each other? His Corgi Troy is the brother of my Corgi Lizzie (Amanda’s Corgi TBH) Yep! We know each other through our Corgi’s.
Somehow we met through the breeder’s post on the facebook. I had noticed his profile picture was a headshot or something… ANYWAY! We became FB friends. Then somehow it came up that he used to do improv with some Fullerton California peeps he suggested we should do something together. I offered that we could do a Duo’s. It’s a beautiful testament to the power of improvisation and a great lesson I learned from the Second City Jam. It doesn’t matter who you get on stage with. If your only goal is to make them look good, and their goal is to make you look good. You will both end up looking good.
Of course, I ended the scene with a “Fancy a shag?” type line, because… I am all about the CLASSY baby!
